CSS background-image Property


Set a foundation picture for the <body> element:

body {
    foundation picture: url("welookups.gif");
    foundation shading: #4446e2;

Definition and Usage

The foundation picture property sets at least one foundation pictures for an element.

The foundation of a component is the complete size of the component, including cushioning and fringe (yet not the margin).

By default, a foundation picture is set at the upper left corner of an component, and rehashed both vertically and horizontally.

Tip: Always set a foundation shading to be utilized if the picture is unavailable.

The numbers in the table determine the main program form that completely underpins the property.

Note: IE8 and prior don't bolster various foundation pictures on one element.
