Definition and Usage

The outskirt style property sets the style of a component's four fringes. This property can have from one to four values.

Examples:

  • border-style:dotted strong twofold dashed;
    • top outskirt is dotted
    • right outskirt is solid
    • bottom outskirt is double
    • left outskirt is dashed

  • border-style:dotted strong double;
    • top outskirt is dotted
    • right and left fringes are solid
    • bottom outskirt is double

  • border-style:dotted solid;
    • top and base outskirts are dotted
    • right and left outskirts are solid

  • border-style:dotted;
    • all four fringes are dotted
