Definition and Usage
For totally situated components, the best property sets the best edge of a component to a unit above/underneath the best edge of its closest situated predecessor. Note: If an outright situated component has no situated predecessors, it utilizes the record body, and moves along with page looking over. Note: A "positioned" component is one whose position is anything aside from static.
For moderately situated components, the best property sets the best edge of a component to a unit above/beneath its ordinary position.
Note: If "position:static", the best property has no effect.
The numbers in the table determine the primary program form that completely underpins the property.
|auto||Lets the program ascertain the best edge position. This is default|
|length||Sets the best edge position in px, cm, and so on. Negative qualities are permitted|
|%||Sets the best edge position in % of containing component. Negative qualities are permitted|
|initial||Sets this property to its default esteem.|
|inherit||Inherits this property from its parent component.|
