FastCGI is another deployment option for Flask application on web servers like nginix, lighttpd, and Cherokee.

Configuring FastCGI

from flup.server.fcgi import WSGIServer
from yourapplication import app

if __name__ == '__main__':
   WSGIServer(app).run()

Configuring Apache

For an essential Apache sending, your .fcgi record will show up in your application URL for example example.com/yourapplication.fcgi/hi/. There are not many approaches to arrange your application so that yourapplication.fcgi does not show up in the URL.
