SQL SUM() Function


SUM () function

SUM () function returns the total number of numeric columns.

SQL SUM () syntax

SELECT SUM (column_name) FROM table_name;


Demo database

In this tutorial, we will use the welookups sample database.

Here is the data from the "access_log" table:
