Definition and Usage

HTML5 not support <basefont> label. Please use CSS instead.

In HTML 4.01,<basefont>

<basefont> Tags define the default color, size, and font of all text in the document.

Differences Between HTML 4.01 and HTML5

HTML5 is not supported <basefont> Tag, HTML 4.01 obsolete <basefont> label.
